Silent Communication

My favorite thing in the world, to draw, is the human face. I especially love drawing eyes. I love them, because I love the expressions. I love how emotions can be so easily conveyed by changing just the tiniest details. By raising the eyebrows and making the eyes sparkle, you don’t need to see the mouth to know that they are smiling. By drawing a smile with lowered eyebrows and softened eyes, I can convey a look of love, or tenderness. Our faces are our most important(in my mind) tool for communication. Not just because we use our mouths to speak. Don’t get me wrong, verbal communication is important, and so is body language(especially in art), but I feel like the face says so much more. There is such a range of facial expressions. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, I would argue that a face is worth a thousand more. picture 280001_watermark picture 25_watermark

Also, I am gearing up for a kick starter on Indiegogo, so for information as to when it will be, leave me a comment, or send me off an email at If you want me to also send you notifications when there are new posts or special deals on old and new pictures, let me know that as well.

Cosigatulatronn, Adam! We appreciate your involvement here at BizSugar. I, too, appreciate being frugal. It takes longer to build a business bootstrapping on a shoestring budget, but you can sleep at night without worrying about all the high loan payments you have to make. I was pleased to see you had been chosen Contributor of the Week.- Anita
